Steve has 25+ years’ experience as an angel investor and serial entrepreneur in the technology industry – including 14 years as the founder and CEO of 2 enterprise software companies. Over the course of his career, Steve has worked internationally in over a dozen countries and dealt extensively with C-suite executives in global leaders including American Express, AT&T, General Motors, Federal Express, Fidelity Investments, Dell Computer and Mobil Oil.
After founding and successfully exiting his second start up, Informiam, Steve decided to employ his capital to assist young entrepreneurs in their quests to create new enterprises. Utilizing his background in sales, product management, and software engineering, he has spent the past several years working with innovative and energetic founders as a board member, coach and mentor. He was a first round angel and board member in Demandforce (acquired by Intuit), and was previously a board member of Camilion Solutions (acquired by SAP) and Axxiom Technologies. He currently holds angel investments in enterprise software, health care, AI and other technology start-ups.
Prior to founding his own entrepreneurial ventures, Steve worked for Nortel Communications and Arthur Andersen in Management Consulting. Steve has been a frequent speaker at technology industry events, has been quoted in technology and business publications, and has appeared on CNBC. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario.
